Scent Request

Some in our church family have sensitivities to scents and chemicals. For the health and consideration of others, we’d like to ask everyone to please use unscented hygiene and cosmetic products on Sunday mornings. Thank you for your consideration. 

Fusion Youth

Fusion Youth is every Wednesday at 7pm-8:30pm (middle school) and 7pm-9pm (high school) at Greenbelt Church. Our end of the year Ultimate Praise Party is 6pm-9:30pm, May 29th. Jen Outhouse for any questions.

Albertos Polizogopoulos (1982-2024)

Our church grieves with Faye Sonier, Jack & Melina Polizogopoulos on the death of Albertos, their husband and father. Albertos passed away on May 9th. His funeral will take place at Kanata Baptist Church (465 Hazeldean Rd, Ottawa), on Tuesday, May 14th at 6:30pm to be followed by a time of fellowship.

New Baby

Congratulations to Mark & Catherine Wheaton on the birth of a little boy, Amos William Wheaton. He was born May 10 weighing 8lb 7oz! They are so thankful he’s here and doing well. 

2nd Quarterly Members’ Business Meeting–May 26th

All members are asked to attend our next members’ meeting on May 26 at 1:30 pm. Agendas have been distributed via email. This meeting will include our annual election of elders and deacons. The nomination slate has also been posted.

Do you sometimes find yourself trying to learn the songs we sing at Calvary on the fly? Do you want to know them in advance? Small Groups

Check out calvarybaptistchurch.ca/smallgroups for our small groups’ schedule & available ones to join. We have waiting lists for special focus small groups. Once there is enough interest and we can recruit a leader, we'll set up another round of that small group. Feel free to sign up for as many as interest you!
